Robin, le goût du défi, le sens du partage.

Since the very first steps of Earth Citizen Club, Robin has been one of those who has always shown up with enthusiasm, generosity, and unwavering support. A passionate athlete and committed entrepreneur, he channels his energy into the causes that matter most to him. With just a few months to go before setting off on the Pekoe Trail in Sri Lanka to support the Rosette Early Childhood Centre, he reflects on his commitment, the challenges that inspire him, and the values that keep him moving forward, with one goal in mind: to share meaningful experiences and make every adventure count.

For those who don't know you yet, could you introduce yourself in a few words?

My name is Robin. I'm from Montpellier, France, married, and the proud father of two wonderful children! I'm passionate about sports. For many years I focused on running—marathons, trail races, and ultratrails. I still play football from time to time, but these days I'm spending a lot of my free time on the tennis court!

You've supported Earth Citizen Club since the very beginning. What inspired you to get involved with us?

Joyce has been a longtime friend. I've always admired who she is, what she's achieved in sport, and everything she's built alongside it—first Ballon du Bonheur, and later Earth Citizen Club. Supporting her, even in my own small way, is the least I can do for her and for all the causes she stands behind.

You've already represented the association in several sporting challenges, including the Marathon des Sables. What's the memory that stands out the most?

The pride of not running just for myself. Wearing the association's colours gave even greater meaning to both of my Marathon des Sables experiences.

In March 2027, you'll be joining the Pekoe Trail adventure to support the Rosette Early Childhood Centre. What motivates you to take on another challenge? Why does this cause matter to you?

The sense of purpose behind it all. This is a shared project that we'll prepare together: raising funds before travelling to the other side of the world to see, with our own eyes, the school we'll be supporting. It's also a chance to spend time with Joyce—we've been saying for years that we should do something like this together! I'm genuinely excited to be part of this adventure.

Your companies, SwimStars and RGAO Conseil, are also supporting the project. Could you tell us about your businesses and explain why it was important for you to involve your professional life as well?

SwimStars: I manage five swim schools (Montpellier Le Nuage, Mauguio, Castelnau-le-Lez, Pontoise, and Enghien-les-Bains), dedicated to teaching both children and adults how to swim. From baby swimming classes and Auto Rescue programmes from the age of 3, to swimming lessons from age 5, as well as beginner and aquaphobic adults, there's something for everyone.

RGAO Conseil: 

This is my original profession. I help law firms grow their business, particularly by supporting them with public tenders and procurement bids.

Involving my companies felt completely natural. When I believe in something, I commit to it wholeheartedly, including through the businesses I've built.

If you had to sum up this adventure in just three words, which would you choose?

Sharing, sharing, sharing.

And finally, a little challenge: sunrise in the mountains... or crossing the finish line of a trail race with a well-earned cold beer in hand?

That's a tough choice... I genuinely love both. But right now, I think I'm most excited about watching a sunrise over the mountains of Sri Lanka! 😊
