In March 2027, 7 walkers, 100 km, one mission: supporting the rehabilitation of Rosette early child center in Sri Lanka
In March 2027, seven of us will take on a sporting and charitable challenge in the heart of Sri Lanka: hiking seven stages of the famous Pekoe Trail in just five days, nearly 100 kilometers through mountains, tea plantations, and remote villages.
But beyond this human adventure lies an essential mission: raising funds to rehabilitate the early child center Rosette located in Hali Ela.
A lively school… in very difficult conditions
This small school serves about ten children aged 3 to 5. Despite the teachers’ dedication and the children’s energy, conditions at the school are currently particularly difficult.
The restroom facilities and access to water create real problems with hygiene and comfort on a daily basis. The walls are crumbling and in need of renovation.
Faced with this situation, we have decided to take concrete action.
A sustainable and meaningful project
Our goal is simple: to provide these children with a learning environment that is healthier, safer, and better suited to their needs.
To do this, we need to raise €7,200 to fund:
the renovation of the walls,
repainting the building,
the creation of child-friendly restrooms,
and the installation of a 1,000-liter water tank.
Every contribution will help bring lasting improvements to the daily lives of these young children.
An adventure carried out with The Pekoe Trail Organisation
This project is being developed in collaboration with The Pekoe Trail Organisation (TPTO), an organization committed to the management, protection, and development of this Sri Lankan national heritage trail.
Through this partnership, we aim to ensure that our initiative follows a responsible, local, and sustainable approach, working closely with local stakeholders.

Walking for them
In March 2027, every kilometer we walk will have meaning.
These 100 kilometers will not only be a sporting challenge, they will represent a concrete step toward giving 17 children better conditions to learn, grow, and build their future.
Thank you to everyone who chooses to walk alongside us, near or far.
