PEKOE TRAIL 2027
The project
The Pekoe Trail is a long-distance hiking trail of more than 300 km that runs through the highlands of Sri Lanka. Inspired by the famous “pekoe” tea, it crosses tea plantations, villages, and mountains, following historic paths once used by tea estate workers. The trail offers an authentic immersion into nature, culture, and sustainable tourism.
Our goal is to hike 7 stages of the Pekoe Trail—around 80 kilometres over 6 days—while adding a strong solidarity dimension: raising funds to support a local community.
Situation report
Our project aims to support a local community in need. To achieve this, we are currently studying the different stages of the route and carrying out field reconnaissance.
This work is being carried out in collaboration with The Pekoe Trail Organisation (TPTO), an independent local non-profit organization responsible for managing, protecting, and developing this national asset.

We would like to thank these companies for associating their image with a meaningful initiative, combining adventure, surpassing oneself and solidarity.
Together, we can offer expectant mothers a safe environment in which to give birth.
